Bumperocity, Part Deux



Baby's bumpers are coming along, albeit slowly. I considered doing the applique by hand on these, but then realized that I'd be giving them to my son on his wedding day if that were the case. So I did them by machine and am REALLY happy so far--I love the semi-quilted look that's developing. I may still decide to attach the vehicles by hand, just because of the number of layers involved, but we'll see when it gets closer.

I'm loving the colors and the texture so far, and am really excited to do the cars and campers. My husband suggested we include a Stingray in honor of the hot car his dad--baby's grandfather--drove in college, so that one will be first. Updates when I get there!


I'm nuts about this project, and it's only (less than) half done! Can't wait to see it all come together...

that bumper is awesome! I love the landscape look of it (not sure if that's what you were going for) but it looks so cool.

I love the bumper! The color combination is really vibrant. I am excited to see the completed project.
